The Bar

Hotel Le Farinet has three bars where you can relax and unwind during your stay in Verbier:

Farinet Après Ski
Open every day from 16:00 to 21:00, Après Ski is the only party in town that showcases live bands every day throughout the season. Voted the Best Après Ski Bar Worldwide 2004 by ‘Which', ten years on Après Ski is still world renowned amongst seasonaires, locals and holiday makers alike. With beer on tap, happy hour between 16:00 and 17:00, huge sliding roof and commanding position over the main square it's an après ski not to be missed. Dancing on the bar is compulsory!

Farinet Lounge Bar
With a menu of over 30 signature cocktails, passionately crafted by their mixologists, the Lounge Bar is an essential stop on the Verbier party circuit. Open from 15:00 to 02:00 every day, the Farinet Lounge Bar is the perfect venue to while away your afternoon or dance late into the night. Seat yourself comfortably on the leather couches and thaw out after a busy day on the mountain in front of an open log fire with a glass of Vin Chaud, or work your way through their extensive list of cocktails, wines and champagnes. With live DJs on the decks every night from midnight to 02:00, grab your friends and make a night of it in one of the private booths with bottle service, hire the VIP area for a special occasion or just hang out at the bar. Combining a warm restaurant atmosphere with an informal and social environment of a bar, guests can enjoy delicious tapas-style cuisine with a wide selection of small plates and sharing platters served from 17:00 to 22:00 every day. For VIP reservations and table bookings booking is required either by calling the hotel on the above number or making an enquiry.

Farinet South
If you are into your sports, it is important to find a good spot for settling in with a beer and watching the game. Whether you want to play or watch sport, party with friends or just grab a quick drink and a bite to eat, head South to Farinet’s newest venue, Sport’s Bar and Nightclub. Showing live sports every day on eight giant HD screens and 72' projector screen, you won’t find a better place to root for your favourite side, whether it’s football, boxing, rugby, snowsports or any other sport you care to mention. For those who'd rather play than watch, try your luck with dart boards, pool tables and table tennis.Featuring a wide selection of international beers, a new food menu of feel-good favourites to satisfy the biggest of game-day appetites, daily specials and lots more, book ahead before major sporting events - Premier League, Champions League, Six Nations - to make the most of table service, comfy sofas and the biggest screens in Verbier. After the final whistle, the music goes up with live DJs every night until 04:00. To book your spot in-front of the big screen, use the enquiry link on this page or the above phone number.

The Restaurant

Whilst the hotel does not include a separate restaurant, two of its bars offer some fantastic food options. Their menus have been designed so that much of what is on offer suits those with gluten and dairy allergies, whilst not compromising on flavour, texture or appearance. The menu is something everyone can share and enjoy together regardless of their dietary needs. You can look forward to:

  • Tapas at The Lounge: A wide selection of small plates and sharing platters to enjoy with friends and family, served from 17:00 to 22:00 every day.
  • Brunch: When it comes to the weekend, cornflakes don’t always cut it, but their breakfast Burrito does! Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday their brunch is a must, with a classic breakfast menu and the perfect Bloody Mary! Served from 11:00 to 15:00.
  • South: Forget the fancy. Feel-good favourites are what they are all about down south. Their chefs have created a roster of reinvented classics to satisfy the biggest of game-day appetites, including burgers, ribs, fish & chips or mac & cheese.

The Valais is famous for some excellent produce and therefore they try to source their ingredients locally where possible. Many of their cheeses come from Verbier’s very own Laiterie and their meats from their local butcher, Georgy Maret in Le Chable.

Visitor comments

  • "Rooms are great for a ski hotel, really comfortable bed, good shower and free-bees, fluffy towels. Flat screen TV and free champagne all make for a great impression. All the staff are a credit to the hotel they were genuinely friendly and eager to help, all gave good advice." - Trip Advisor
  • "Fab weekend with friends in this brilliantly located, friendly and cool hotel. We were lucky and got upgraded to one of the new suites, never had so much space in a skiing hotel, even managed to host our own little party with the free champagne and no trouble with noise at all. Bath in corner of room and open plan shower may not suit all travelling companions! Staff were really friendly and I loved being chauffeured to and from the lifts and the local apres bar. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful and including lovely fresh fruit to cut through all that swiss cheese. The main feature of the hotel is undoubtedly the bar area. There is the cool, relaxed lounge bar, great for a chilled out cocktail, trendy DJs and gorgeous food, or the slightly crazy Apres bar - dancing on the bar, totally packed, great band, lots of beer. Enjoy it but leave your shower until after! We'll definitely return to Le Farinet." - Trip Advisor
  • "My 4th visit back to the Farinet with friends and we totally loved what the new owners had done to the place, both the glamorous refurbishment and the amazing new staff. Their energy, creativity and attention to detail have really turned this into a 5 star experience. We were very generously upgraded by Scotty the new manager to one of the stunning new master suites and new touches like complimentary champagne in the rooms on arrival, the super helpful Harry driving us to & from the ski lifts each day and the lovely sunny new breakfast room upstairs really enhanced the experience this year." - Trip Advisor
  • "We spent 5 nights at the Farinet just before Christmas. We are a family of 5 with three older teenage kids who love to ski and of course, to party. The Farinet did not disappoint on any level, and in many ways surpassed all our expectations. I have stayed here several times before and thought I knew what to expect from this famous Verbier venue. However under new ownership it has altogether moved to a new level. The staff in particular deserve a special mention. Despite being at the end of a lengthy and extensive renovation process, every member of the team were incredibly courteous, professional and helpful in every way. Every one of us were made to feel like we really were special guests, and that nothing was too much trouble. There are fabulous touches appearing everywhere, to please all tastes, from the lovely wooden , traditional games sets in the lounge, to the incredible LED colour changing bars in both the apres- ski, and lounge bar, and the lovely contemporary wooden panelling . However for those, like myself, who enjoy it for its party ethos, none of this has been lost in any way. The atmosphere in both bars has been retained and even extended in its individual and unique character. In addition there is a new chef who creates stylish and contemporary tapas type food. My daughter said it was the best food she has ever eaten in a ski resort. There was also delicious home made cake and hot beverages served in the afternoon.I believe a large amount of money has been spent on sound proofing the rooms, and we were barely able to notice the noise from the bar downstairs. The only noise that disturbed me was from the revellers in the street one night when I had accidentally left the window open. After all, it must be remembered that this is a party venue right in the centre of Verbier, and perhaps if you really don't like any noise at all, this is not the place for you. Finally, we were given a chance to see the newly refurbished bedrooms. These are spectacular, with state of the art bathrooms and beautiful contemporary design. I believe that all the rooms will be completed over the next few months. Thank you once again to Scotty, the general manager, to Naomi, to harry our driver, and all the other fabulous staff. We are already planning to return as soon as we can sort some dates out." - Trip Advisor

Child policy

Children are welcome at the hotel, however please not that the Farinet comprises of not only the Hotel but also an After-Ski bar, a Lounge Bar, and a night club. The atmosphere is lively and consequently noise can travel up in to the hotel. Even though they do their utmost to contain the noise (including sound-proofing of the rooms), it can be inconvenient for some guests, especially those with children.
