La Tzoumaz
Small family friendly town with good lift acces, linked to Verbier ski area
With only around 300 to 400 permanent residents, La Tzoumaz is quite a small town that comes to life in winter and summer.
With good lift access up to the mountain tops you've got no excuse not to explore on foot or with a bike during the summer, and in winter the Four Valleys to ski in.
The gondola in La Tzoumaz only takes around eight minutes to get to the top of Savoleyres, and compared to Verbier there are barely any lift queues. From here it takes another eight minutes on another lift to get across to Le Carrefour and the rest of Verbier's ski area.
