New Télémixte lift for Verbier 4Vallées
Work has begun on the installation of the Télémixte lift
Representing a groundbreaking step for Verbier 4Vallées, this venture offers a new generation of lift.
Construction begain in November 2024. The key dates for opening are December 2025 for Les Planards <> Savoleyres line and December 2026 for the network to be fully operational.
Featuring a hybrid technology with six-seater chairlift for rapid ascent and 10-seater cable cars for optimal comfort - all designed for skiers, pedestrians and cyclists in both summer and winter.
Key points:
- One connections between Verbier and Savoleyres-La Tzoumaz sectors
- Mix of cable cars and chairlifts - in total 59 cable cars will circulate on both lines with 30 chairlifts in operation on the Planards-Savoleyres line
- Journey time Esserts <> Planards: 6.48 minutes / capacity: 1,675. Planards <> Savoleyres: 5.29 minutes / capacity: 2,650
- Optimised for those with reduced mobility, families with buggies and cyclists - stations and cable cars are all on one level
- A new piste will connect Le Carrefour to the departure station of Les Esserts, allowing passengers to travel between the two sectors on their skis.
- To ensure the new piste does not disrupt the existing Le Rouge button lift, the piste will run underground through a metal tube before continuing through a partially open concrete tunnel then becoming an open track through the forest.
Everything has been considered, including the environmental impact. By replacing obsolete installations, user experience is improved whilst minimising ecological footprint, with measures to protect flora, fauna and the mountain landscape.
