Verbier Snow Report: 17th January 2014
Fresh snow hits Verbier, with up to 30cm of fresh up top
Conditions in Verbier have improved dramatically since the snow fall at the beginning of this week and we now have much better skiing on piste and even some powder off-piste.
The guys from Powder Extreme have been out on the slopes to check out the snow in this snow report.
Lorne Cameron reports: "Off the top of Funispace we started working towards Nendaz by sticking to the obvious routes in very poor visibility and finding less fresh snow than expected; it seems that most of Verbier’s snow fell during the day yesterday and not overnight, so the normal routes had soft bumps but were still skiable fine. Through in Nendaz we worked across the drag lifts and around the trees and found some really nice pockets of untouched snow every run and plenty of areas for exploring in the future.."
