Verbier Video Report: 17th December 2009
In La Chaux with good snow, quiet pistes and sunny weather.
With a much larger ski area open this week and snow canons constantly running, it looks as if there will be great conditions in time for the Christmas holiday period.
Lots more sunshine is forecast for this weekend and it looks as if we are going to be getting a fresh snowfall at the begining of next week.
Temperatures are VERY cold at the moment so wrap up well and although there is plenty of loose snow on the pistes there are still quite a few icy patches, so make sure to sharpen your edges.
On Saturday December 19th there is a night ski touring race between Carrefour and les Attelas. If you are feeling fit or just want to take in the incredible night time views then registration takes place on the day of the race between 4.30pm and 6pm at the office of Verbier Sport Plus or via email at the following address : info@verbiersportplus.ch
