More new trails for the Verbier Bike Park this summer
2 new Downhill tracks and 21 enduro options are being added
Good news mountain bike fans.. Verbier bike park have upped their game again for this year, and are opening up two new red graded DH tracks and 21 enduro itineraries.
The Verbier / La Tzmoumaz bike park team always seem to be at work, shaping, adding, testing & maintaining the trails 7 days a week. As a result this year they'll have a whopping 826km of mountain bike trails (take that Portes du Soleil!) made up of 7 downhill tracks (12km) 21 enduro trails (207km), The Tour du Mont Fort all mountain (108km) and stacks of cross country/enduro riding.. some 75km of which will be single track with the rest on fire roads (4x4 tracks).
The enduro trails are going to be graded as per the existing DH tracks, which are easily recognisable from the coloured tapes along their length, in blue, red, black & yellow. Lots of these will be walking trails that have now officially been give the go-ahead to ride on, so you are expected to respect the trails - don't cut the switch backs, and watch out for hikers.
Take a look at the test days they did last summer on the new red DH trails in the video. The trails are called 'Rôdze' & 'Bortabitche'.
